Clarkstown is participating in the Rockland Community Power program, a program through which Clarkstown residents and small businesses may purchase electricity supply. This program provides the opportunity to purchase 50% renewable electricity at a fixed price, as well as two other energy options.
This program is in its second round, following a very successful program from 2020 through November of 2022.
Recently some Clarkstown residents received letters indicating that they would be included in the program unless they opt out within thirty days. Some of these letters were mailed in error.
If you previously opted out of the program (in 2023), then you received the letter in error and you do not need to take action. You will not be enrolled and you will shortly receive a letter from Constellation confirming this fact.
If you received a program letter for the first time OR have recently moved, you can choose to stay in the program by doing nothing or you can change your selection or opt out, by calling (833) 930-3159.
