Adopt-A-Road

Thank you for your interest in the Clarkstown Adopt-A-Road Program. If you have any questions, please contact the Highway Department (623-7500) for an explanation of what would be expected of you and your group once an agreement is approved. You may want to read through the “Sample” copy of the Town of Clarkstown Adopt-A-Road Agreement for an idea of what will be expected of your group.

To proceed, please follow these step :
Address a letter to the Town Supervisor requesting participation in this program. Indicate the spot(s) you would like to adopt. There is no guarantee that you will get the spot(s) you request, but all efforts are made to work with you.

Address your letter to:

For processing, send the above letter to my attention:

Thereafter, the Town Attorney’s Office (639-2060) will contact you once the Town Supervisor and the Town Attorney have reviewed your request.

Please do not fill out the sample agreement- the Town will send you an official agreement after all of the details are worked out.
