(New City, NY) – Supervisor George Hoehmann and Superintendent of Recreation and Parks Elaine Apfelbaum today announced that Congers Pool will open early again this year. In 2017, Clarkstown opened Congers Memorial Day weekend for the first time in the pool’s history. Starting Memorial Day weekend, Congers Pool will be open Saturdays and Sundays, until June 23rd when the pool will begin daily operation for the season.
“Families and seniors can enjoy Congers pool earlier in the season this year,” said Supervisor George Hoehmann. “While we are working hard to cut costs in Town Government, we are also looking for better ways to serve the residents of Clarkstown. It’s part of my commitment to do more with less.”

(Please note that Congers pool will be closed on June 16 for the Serendipity Saturday event at Germonds Pool.)
